Sticky black fruit, slightly floral but not discernibly of roses, slightly rich in texture, with a bracing acidity that made love to the linguini and red clam sauce.

Fine, as in okay. I'd spend more if I wanted a killer barolo. It is well balanced, nice tannin. The color lacks depth. Good, but better ways to spend $40.

Light to med ruby hue. Candied cherry & strawberry aromas on the nose with a rich, savoury hint of oregano. Ripe red fruit on the palate. Cherries, strawberries, black tea leaf, leather. Med+ tannins. Full-bodied & well balanced.
