Killer value, great layers, extremely food friendly, lovey perfume, mineral, bright acid, distinctive. This always makes us happy on our table.

Medium ruby color with promising dark fruit, dried rose, white pepper, gentle spice and graphite aromas. On the palate it's feels light on its feet, but approached medium-bodied. It's elegant, dry, fresh, and balanced with mixed black and red cherry, red plum and spice flavors with a very appealing minerality and a lengthy finish. Like most Italian wines, it seems it made for the table. At under $20 wonderful QPR. Will buy more!

Been awhile since I've had any Benanti, but it's as great as I remember. Very tasty.

Great acidity and stoniness. Garnet color, restrained red fruits and it pairs deliciously with pasta, rapini and sausage dish (no tomatoes).

Medium body, beautiful quaffing. Not as volcanic or smoky as most productions from Etna but a good partner wine for stews.

Matured in 500 litre oak barrels. More body and power than the Nerello Cappuccio but still just medium weight. The major Red grape on Mount Etna.

Light bodied and extremely smooth from start to finish. Tastes like cherries and a little bit of tobacco. Perfect to drink alongside antipasti.
