Aug 20th, 2024Popped and poured; enjoyed over a 90 minute period. No formal notes. The 2020 is an elegant Etna Rosso that wins you over with its beauty. The fruit is fresh and juicy and there are some lovely minerals. Balanced. Good structure. Not the most complex but it’s super easy to like and versatile enough for a variety of meals. Huge value. Drink now.

Dec 9th, 2023Very calm and cultured. Inviting flavors of red berries and cherries with good acidity and balance that continues to evolve with more air time. Firm, fine tannins of volcanic ash

Apr 5th, 2022Colour of cold black tea. Cherry, toffee, earth and dried herbs on the nose. Palate has savoury earthy cherry - just medium bodied. The following night savoury red fruits with a skinnsy element on the palate developing into a touch of astringency. Not for long keeping - drink now if you have some.
