A delicious Napa Cabernet Sauvignon from the house of Far Niente. Fruit forward and spicy.
Full bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, vanilla, spices, espresso, cola, light herbs, chocolates, tobacco and peppercorn.
Long finish with round tannins and tangy raspberries.
Still young, but already enjoyable even by itself, and will continue to age nicely in the 10 years.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime.

Tried this about year ago! Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe dark fruits, pepper spice and cedar notes. A Far Niente offering aged for 16 months in 60% new French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry, ripe plum and blackberry with notes of cacao and espresso. Fine structured tannins with good acidity on long finish ending with integrated fruit, spice and toasty oak character. Aged well!

Bella Union is rich, deep and textured. Nice switch up from the “failed to launch Belle Glos.”

Decadent, pure nose. Palate displays polish and poise. It’s a well-behaved, palate staining cab. Ripe tannins and bright acidity complete what is a super Napa cab. Drink this while it’s young - wifey is happy, again - hallelujah 😀
