NV Sunday bubbly from 84% chardonnay 12% Pinot Nero 4% Pino Bianco. Smell with fresh grapefruit, almonds, citrus impression, light brioche. Very pure taste with great Granny Smith apple acidity. Very good effort, this Franciacorta! 30 months sur lattes.

Yum!
Nose of apricot, honeysuckle.

Deliciously citrusy on the palette, Buddha palm and kumquat. Doughy at the end, with gravelly acidity.
Perfect pairing for the BBC radio one DJ’s tonight. Raving it up on Friday!

Star bright straw gold with persistent small bubbles. Abundant nose of citrus and white flowers. Firm acidity leads the medium light body and intros a palate of satsuma and honeysuckle. An excellent companion to rich fare like pot pies, Alfredo sauces, and firm white fish. Your *real* Italian alternative to Champagne.

Pretty good. Has this round zestness to it. Yeasty and some spice, I primarily get lemon pound cake, and some acidity that comes with that.

This is a nice and easy drinking sparking wine from Italy.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate, tangy and engaging.

Showing citrus, green apples, herbs, earth, yeast and minerals.

Good by itself or with food. Needs 30 minutes to open up properly, so be patient. I've had it before, but never gave it the chance to breathe. Worth the wait.

12% alcohol by volume.

89 points.

$32.

Champagnoise made wine, with the freshness of italian style acids. Lovely brioche, toast and yeast giveaway the champaign style. The franciscorte comes in with the lemon zest full citric tast.

Great bubbles from Italy. Toasted brioche, Meyer lemons, and white flowers. Would be a great bottle to try again several years down the road. #saberit #bubbles #alpinewine
