A wine worth keeping a bit longer. The Italian acids less firm, plum, cedar wood, lavas herbs. Tanine low, fine bitters.

Blackberry, raspberry, cherry, cranberry, vanilla and loamy earth. Good structure and well-integrated tannins.

Keeping it longer pays off. Still nice raspberry in the nose. Leather and plum. Silky tanine and some sweet cherries in the long finish.

Not bad. Good. Not extraordinary but it’s gonna go with Uber eats fries. The tannins , acid, alcohol and body are all in sync. It’s just not complex. But it’s fun and drinkable. Just missing the elements I usually look to a Chianti Classico to equal fun (balsamic, flowers, more animal and tarter fruit). But do-able if you need a grocery store vino.
