When winemaker Simon Waghorn created his own brand, he chose the name Astrolabe, which is an ancient instrument of navigation that measures the altitude of the stars. Pale straw with grassy citrus notes and floral scents. On the palate peach, tangy citrus and melon flavors with gentle acidity. Medium+ finish ending with bright mineral character.

Powerful tropical fruits, grapefruit & lemon nose, taste is not as intense with some minerality. Overall more fruit that 2014, but still a great NZSB.
