Arnot-Roberts
Clajeux Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Chalk Hill, Sonoma County, California, USA
From mag. 14.5% abv so it seems like the style used to be a bit riper than more recently. But it’s gorgeous. Big boisterous nose of blackberry, black currant, cinnamon, cedar and dried herbs. Very structured still, youthful even with beautiful dark fruit and fine tannins.

Dec 21st, 2022Making up for missing pick- up day with this lovely thing. Definitely large scale by a-r standards but very nicely defined and beautiful perfume.

1 person found it helpfulFeb 9th, 2014This has a fluffy nose that is red fruit dominated along with strong butter and green bell pepper notes. Medium intensity and medium complexity. The tannins are a little gritty on the palate and the fruit is not quite coming through. Medium length #arnotroberts #cabernetsauvignon #chalkhill #sonoma #ctbucklinwine

Very nice. Acid is there to battle all that stuffing. Tannin is soft, but abundant.
