Lovely #Gamay. This #beaujolais had powerful graphite and violets and roses. Very clean palate and harmonious tannin/acid. With time the minerality and fruit became extremely elegant but lasting. #wine

Excellent Gamay. Great blue fruit and spice. A rockin example of what Beaujolais can be, especially for the price.

Solid Cru Beaujolais. Medium garnet color. Bright aromas of ripe red and black cherries, earth and violets. Expressive flavors of red and black cherry/raspberry/currant fruit, tobacco and a pleasant hint of baking spices. A bit of black pepper and the presence of stemmy carbonic maceration on the very long and tingly finish. Quite juicy and crisp. Fruit forward, nicely structured and pretty well balanced.

My last note from 3 months ago is still very apt today.
Cherry, rose, hay, earth, typical cru Beaujolais nose. This is great, deep and complex. The palate is very well made, complex too. A great and long acid backbone, some nice cherry notes shining all around, a good width, some grip on the sides, no real tannins to speak off and a real long finish with fruit. This is very well balanced and a textbook example of the varietal and the region. Gotta love it!
