Camins del Priorat Grenache Blend

Paired with an honest BBQ w Kansas City style ribs & old college friends. Have had this over the years & while it’s a high ABV wine it carries itself more like a compact Bordeaux. Not oak monster rich, in balance.

Just harsh tannins and unpleasant flavors. Perhaps way too young to open.

Oodles of earth, particularly that smoky-metallic flavor characteristic of the Priorat geology, pencil lead, coca, and red and black fruit. Tannic, intense flavors in the mouth with a moderate finish.

Excellent with our Cranberry Spatchcock Cornish Hens!!!! Very smooth and full bodied. Dark berries, cranberry, prunes, licorice,

Medium bodied, complex red. Excellent!

Another wine from Priorat, another very good choice. Still young and rich. A black fruit, sweet vanilla and tobacco with fantastic acidity.

Good tannins, slight floral and pencil shaving. Low body, ok to drink

Fruit forward with a bit tobacco like tannin. A little more acidity would put this wine over the top.
