Big. Rich. Stiffly structured. Deep ruby red. Round dark fruit with bramble and forest influence. Mint and eucalyptus. Purposely built for the masses without a sense of place. A disappointing yet serviceable entry to a great producer.

Delicious Tuscan red. Half sangio half cab/merlot (if I remember correctly). Lots of leathery red fruits and dark berries, with acidity to stand up to the oldest family meatball and tomato sauce recipes.

Dirty ammonia like kitty litter and smokey cherry nose. Ripe red fruit, fleshy, and a somewhat flabby palate. Not a huge fan but not terrible.

Classic Brunel love! The 1998 drinking perfectly and showing its age with grace and beautiful finish! Kudos to the folks at Winebow!

Drinking beautifully, a little bottle age never hurts. The leather and dirt focuses into olive vines. The finish is green smooth olives. Truly a wonderful food wine. Find it!

Nice wine. I love their brunello big bro! But this wine has a nice lighter body yet full flavor. Would buy again.
