Oso Malo Cabernet Sauvignon

Nice example of an old-world style Cab from Napa. High acid and tannins, good fruit, not too much oak. WSET3 tasting with Dilek.

Rich mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 92%, rest Cabernet franc. Should have been aged longer to soften.

Plums, currents and licorice, went really well with stuffed tenderloin

I really enjoyed this wine. I wish I saved it longer for a special occasion. It has a beautiful blend of fruit with a little acid and smoke. For me the smoke and fruit make this a great wine

This is a very good cab and definitely worth revisiting. From Wine Library club.

Light tasting. Not cabby, more like Uber. Soft smells of vanilla, cherry, rubbing alcohol, and coal. Tastes of ink, earth, and fire (smoke). Doesn't remind me of a Cabernet.

Opened to breath for 6+ hours. Sexy, smooth, French oak wrapped boysenberry. Green pepper, cola, licorice on the nose too. Dark fruits and dark flavors- expresso and cacao. Fresh and bright on the palate, old world style. Red raspberry and chocolate. Smooth and integrated tannins round out the finish. #garyveewineclub

#garyveewineclub refined Napa Cab. Black currant, eucalyptus, cocoa, blueberries, vanilla, with a subtle meaty quality. Velvety mouthfeel, juicy Napa fruit, but well-balanced, good structure, and a fresh finish.

Not bad! Fruit flavor is pretty intense but it’s a great night time drink.
