Albariño like this is an instant classic. Lemon, lime, mineral, melon, and some interesting bitter notes

Advanced color, stable/blanaced acidity, fleshy.

Nice presentation. Good oak treatment. Nice weighty palate. On the downslope, it has a slightly bitter finish, hence the compressed score.

18’ Eidos de Padrinan Albariño, Rias Baixas.
Mango & lime skins are on the nose. This has the feel of chewy citrus fruits, a mix of up front tropical fruit flavors, splash of creaminess!??! 🤷🏻‍♂️ that linger through the palate!?! Light acidity cleans the rest of the palate. Not the most complex wine in the world. Just fun to drink! Delicious... $22 a bottle. Love this one. Thank goodness I have five more. Cheers!

Peaches, yogurt, lemongrass, fruit cocktail

Relatively high color. Some pomme fruits but mostly muted not yet developed aromatic/petrol. Acid seems slightly unbalanced.

You know, this has a luscious, fully fruit rush that I quite like, but there is a bizarrely fruit snack-esque note on the finish that's somewhat perplexing.

Very good Albariño from the Garagiste for 19$. Acidic with decent complexity. Lots of saline, straw, and citrus on the nose.
