Off vintage. A difficult year. Lighter in color than expected. The red fruits were very much alive but on a very delicate structure. Still enjoyable but wanted more from
Ornellaia. (Edited: On the second day, Ornellaia delivered! Wow. It is still delicate but in a perfect harmony.)

オフヴィンテージ1994年のワイン。思っていた以上に薄い色。フルーツ感は健在でしたが、非常にデリケートな構造の中に存在しているとでも申しますか、難しい年だったことがわかるワインでした。楽しめるワインでしたが、Ornellaiaからはもう少し厚み、芳醇さが欲しかった。(編集・追記: ２日目。Ornellaiaはやってくれました。とてもデリケートな構造の中に完璧なハーモニーが！)

Plum, fig, leather, mushroom, dried dark fruits, shaved chocolate with a medium body. Probably past its peak.

プラム、フィグ、レザー、マッシュルーム、ドライフルーツ、チョコレートなど。ミディアムボディー。ピークを過ぎているかも。
