Upon uncorking, this #ucovalley #malbec was a bit profligate with the toasted oak. A few days in the wine fridge and more enjoyable details emerge - dark bramble fruit, stewed plum, faint forest floor; taste impression is of delicious tartness up front, soft peppery notes and feathery tannins on a long finish. I’m particular about Argentinian Malbecs but this one is reasonably complex and refined. — 3 years ago
