Lovely mushroom emerges within a lovely and gracefully aged malbec showing appropriate raisination. Tulip, violet, hibiscus and rosemary-beef; bllackberry and cocoa, cracked pepper. Dense coloration just brimming on brick. Concentrated plum and cinnamon collide with tobacco, cedar and savory as well as slightly sour cherry and roobios.

An aromatic, very expressive behemoth. Coming from the arid Argentinian Andes foothills, this is a fantastically concentrated wine: the yield PER PLANT is less than a pound of grapes or 1/3 bottle of wine (!). Didn't finish it all and will be tested in 24 hours. Let's see.

Day 3: Big, black chocolate nose, with baked blackberry, black olives, and charred beef ribs charging from the glass. The floodgates have finally opened, and it was worth the wait!
