Lots of red fruit on the nose - cherry pie, ripe strawberries, cranberries, raspberries, and vanilla, leather, mushroom, dried rose, and cherry blossoms. Refreshingly tart on the palate. Lovely wine. Upon further reflection, perhaps not the *ideal* complement to this particular meal (pan-seared pork chop and creamy three-apple salad), but still very nice.
