Unfortunately, it was totally oxidated, which is weird but these wines from the 1990s don’t seem to have the longevity of the wines from the 1960s or even 1970s. This bottle in particular was always kept on its side in cool dark basements not totally temperature controlled, but in no way you should have suffered or had a problem and the cork was perfectly fine when extracted so it seems to me like the cork was a good quality cork. #premox #vegasicilia #riberadelduero — 9 days ago

Opened two of these bottles tonight. Oysters were definitely better. First one was clearly #PREMOX. Second one was a bit tired, most primary flavors gone. But it definitely wasn't oxidized. Drinkable but not at its best. Time to drink up. — 13 years ago

First bottle #premox second bottle outstanding. Yellow core (first bottle golden) delicate notes of cooked apple and pear, hazelnuts, brown sugar, and white mushrooms.
