A Blanc de Noir bottle from @champagnemoussefils in the region of Vallée de la Marne. This producer has been making wine since 1923. The bottle is 80% Pinot Meunier and 20% Pinot Noir. It is made from reserve wines from 10 different years.

Note: Pinot Meunier is one of those grapes that often doesn’t take seriously by producers in Champagne. However, Mousse Fils is killing it. Really great bottle! Cheers! 🥂

Lemon peel, yellow apple, crab apple, Nicco wafer, crispy veggie dumpling, orange pith, pear blossom, and lime. Fantastic, juicy lemon-lime, citrus entry that puckers up to dried star fruit and lemon pith. Chalky and lip smacking with lemongrass finishing amidst crystalline ginger and ginseng whispers. Goutorbe-Bouillot Reflets de Rivière Brut, Champagne. Blend of 60% Meunière, 20%Pinot Noir and 20% Chardonnay from vines near the village of Damery. Very traditional , fruity and complex , yet still has good acidity and freshness. I can imagine it will develop some more with age. Very enjoyable wine.
