Not just any Bourgogne here, this is from Domaine Berlancourt and drinks miles above its simple appellation status. For 2011 the density and clarity in this are very surprising, not to mention the depth and tension. The nose shows plenty of oak upfront that over the course of a few hours mellows out, evening out with thewhite florals, minerality, deep citrus and juicy apple notes. Just a baby, this will go several more years easy.
