Not just any Bourgogne here, this is from Domaine Berlancourt and drinks miles above its simple appellation status. For 2011 the density and clarity in this are very surprising, not to mention the depth and tension. The nose shows plenty of oak upfront that over the course of a few hours mellows out, evening out with thewhite florals, minerality, deep citrus and juicy apple notes. Just a baby, this will go several more years easy. Keep an eye out for this one, got it from @Lyle Fass as its about the only place in the US to get it. #burgundy #chardonnay #berlancourt #meursault

Wide open and ripe. Mineral but more pear/Apple, custard, dense and flowery nose. Exotic nose. Big, ripe and rich. So pure. Shows the vintage. Amazing freshness but not super high acidity. I love this but totally different than the last few wines.
