Delas Frères

Saint-Esprit Côtes du Rhône Red Rhone Blend 2015

Always a reliable Côtes-du-Rhône, Delas goes over the top in 2015. Great vintage and huge value - well balanced, fruity and nice mineral notes. Just a whiff of garrigue. Loved it for drinking now or holding a couple of years — 7 years ago

The Bard Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2017

inky dark purple; somewhat muted, cassis, anise, red currants, violets, pencil shavings; very concentrated, red and black fruits, fine grained tannins, medium acidity, 14.6% ABV; blend of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot; very young, still one of my favorite Realm wines; $110 — 5 years ago

Farella Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2012

100% Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon. Very tannic and still has some sharp edges at age 6. This is still a brooding, purple fruit, teeth staining monster. Graphite, sweet tobacco and camphor. — 7 years ago
