Medium Ruby with berry fruit aromas, fragrant spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and licorice with notes of pepper spice, tangy mineral feel. Fine tannins, medium+ savory finish ending with a vanilla, tobacco and cacao. Nice!

Brunello is superior of Sangiovese as Barolo is to barbers. Needs to be aged at least 5 years but this tastes young, a little muted. Could use a little more time to develop more flavor but delicious still.

We just had the 2016 with a bracciole and it was spot on. But honestly it was tight. We decanted a couple hours before the meal, and it still near the end of the meal when it started to show sone of its majesty. If you are thinking of drinking this, then buy 2 and try the other one in ten years. Let me know what is like then!
