A subtle wine, my first time. Needs plenty of air & imagine a decent decant would speed things up a bit for those who can’t wait. Quiet power & finesse. I don’t generally like’super Tuscans’ but this is special.

Juicy explosion on palate with layers of spice & sweet small red berries. Hint of gamey ness too. Great juice, don’t let it’s small frame fool you. Mostly Sangioveta(Sangiovese) with Canaiolo & Colorino. Paired with an actual Mets win (which may have distorted my notes)…

Perfect pizza wine. Sour red fruits, fresh flowers, touch of spice. Medium bodied and ready now after an hour or so from opening.

Nose is green pepper.
Palate is fresh. Juicy. Ok. Sorta like a wierd natural wine. As it opens some cherry pop/ cherry licorice.

Had to hunt a little bit for this bottle and honestly (despite my efforts) I didn't expect it to be that good. Beautiful bouquet of sour cherry, spices, red flowers and mushrooms. Well balanced, fresh, elegant and easy going. Now my only desire is to taste the same bottle in few years, seems like it has a good potential. Wonderful QPR.

Muted aromatics; tight finish befitting its youth. BUT a beautiful opening and mid-palate: juicy with great acidity and just enough seriousness underneath to take this to the next level. Lovely wine from a great producer.
