Had the pleasure of recently tasting 8 Kosta Browne wines. Here is another, Wow! Dark fruit aromas with citrus and exotic spices. On the palate plum and black cherry flavors with a creamy texture, gentle oak and savory wild tannins. Aged for 16 months in 46% new French oak. The well balanced wine had a long finish, nice acidity but needs more time to tame the tannins. Tasting Sample.

We are at a new Thomas Keller restaurant in Yountville that is Mexican themed. This wasn’t the best wine to bring to this food experience.

Smooth, light Pinot. Tastes of dried strawberry and tart cherry. For such a light wine, it's got heat 14.7% ABV. Others have said you can still hold onto to this wine for later, but very drinkable now.
