My rating is for the overall of today’s Sherry masterclass flight.
I’ve been introduced to a whole new world.

4 years of biological aging filled by another four years of aging after the yeast kill. Hazelnut. Great pairing for game.

Wonderful aromas and flavors of bread dough, nuts, raisins, caramel

Clear medium amber; medium intensity aldehydic aromas of dried orange peel, candied fruit, cloves, yeasty dough, caramel, hazelnut, tobacco, cedar, toast; dry, medium acid, medium alcohol, medium body, medium intensity flavors of butterscotch, caramel, cedar, tobacco, toast, spiced orange peel, medium plus finish; very good due to complex layering of flavors

Nutty

My favourite style of Sherry so I’m biased. I really enjoy the unusual blend of fine herbs, brine, and chamomile that mingles with toffee, toasted coconut, and hazelnut

One of the tastiest combos around -- Amontillado #sherry and cashews. Either alone is not as good as the mix of both. Great wine but watch the temp...no good cold.

Good structure, basenotes. Lacking finesse.

Very dry with almonds, hazelnut and a slight vanilla.
