Brut Rosé Champagne

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The NV Brut Rosé pours a very pretty pale pink with a persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with attractive notes of strawberry, raspberry, lemon curd, brioche and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium and silky smooth. A quaffable Rosé that’s easy to like for its balance and approachability. Drink now. Base harvest 2017. Disgorged in October of 2022.

Solid rose champagne, if a little overpriced.

Dinner party with friends, notes possibly.

A go to with depth and balance

I'd have preferred a bigger mousse when the wine was as dry and biscuity as it was - just a little something to liven it up.

last night's bedtime invention: leftover rosé Henriot Rosé Brut NV (gorgeous notes of cherry, silky texture, mouthwateringly crisp finish) #Champagne drizzled in black cherry Chobani.
