10 years on, didn't know what to expect. Nicely surprised by good structure, balance and dark fruit. — 2 years ago
Our table of BCWAS insiders were anxiously waiting to try this Syrah from one of Canada's newest Masters of Wine. I'm thinking that drinking it on its own with a big hunk of meat would bring out the complexity more than getting a small pour after 7 other wines.
Will watch for this new entrant on the Okanagan scene tho. — 2 years ago
Not the most complicated of wines but very approachable with lots of dark fruit to enjoy. Drinking buddy was thoroughly disappointed after his final sip since there wasn't any more. — 2 years ago
Touch of Old World styling. High acidity still - maybe more like a Chianti than a Pinot. Better with food than on its own. — 2 years ago
The "unique" factor is alone worth a try. I don't think I've seen 80/20 blend with Viognier being Syrah's dominant partner. Good news is that the wine's rich and full of tree fruit. As full bodied I can recall in some time. — 2 years ago
