Love the acid, the pear and stone fruit tandem. Not as rich as some of chidaine's wines. I love Chenin and this is a great example.

Chidane Argiles 2012. Very acid driven and angular but delish for what it is. Melon, quince, peach, mineral, Hawthorne, cheese rind, wet wool. Text book with austerity.

Dried apricots, honeysuckle, bees wax and flint on the nose. Higher phenolics on the palate with the apricots and flint lingering in the background. Good, vibrant acid with a touch of talc powder on the finish. Tasty and would love to revisit in another 5 years.

Refreshing Vouvray. Subtle Chenin Blanc. At wine group.

Grilled lemon, honey, broad rich texture. This had a very funky nose on opening that blew off over time.

Green apple.mineral and plenty of acidity

Floral and elegant Chenin from Vouvray that was a perfect match with Sushi.

Much better as it opened up.
