Rich complex aromas of stone fruts and floral and spice scents. The wine was aged for 15 months in French oak (about 30% new) and hand-stirred weekly gives the wine an intense complexity. On the palate rich ripe apricots, peaches, pears and tropical fruits with a good touch of minerality, well balanced with acidity, nice and crisp. Big full finish noting some oak on the smooth ending. A Fav!! Enjoy with a rich seafood meal.

Rich creamy texture vanilla butterscotch very well endowed with layers of spice and a firm underbelly of acidity. Caramel corn big but quite balanced. Long layered finish 45+ most excellent only natural yeast used all wines unfiltered simple winemaking not over handled. This is the wine that put them on the map aged in barrel for 16 months one of the secrets to making unfiltered wine that extra length in barrel. Red wine drinkers white could be all the oak

Stone fruit, some sweet cotton candy peachy "thingy", muted oak. Tastes smooth and fruit forward with integrated oak and smooth. Lovin' it.

Well I purchased the new 2013 Newton Unfiltered Chard! My usually 1 bottle a year! In past it always the creamy buttery chard! This vintage 2013 has more going on. Tropical fruits yes and rich and creamy, but not the Old Buttery Stuff. Much improved style my compliments! I say 93+. Keep in mind some people like butter but California is changing in a Good Way. Bravo to Newton Unfiltered 2013 Chardonnay! CB

Haven't had this wine in years. Freaking good. Not fat, but a well-balanced Cali Chard.

11/2015.
In time my rating will probably seem very conservative as I think this could blossom in 2-3 years.

Just extraordinarily quaffable. Vibrant stone fruits and exciting floral notes overwhelm the lack of structure. #newton #chardonnay #napavalley
