Very lush and driven by dark flavors and tones. The firm tannins display how well structured this Barbaresco is

Sweet and dried spices, forest wood, dried red fruits with a nice finish. Rounded tannins and acidity.

Balsamic savoury and earthy with plum notes. Oak influence in evidence. Palate of M intensity and weight. Surprisingly short term for a wine of this quality. I bought this at the winery - have 2 bottles left which I will drink in the next 12 months. Tried another bottle on 4th February 2018. As above with notes of Camphor/Menthol. On palate sour cherry with s hint of raisin. Fine savoury Dry tannins. Tasted another bottle 89 weeks later on 12th May 2019 with consistent notes with maybe the cherry becoming more Liqueur Cherry and touch of chocolate. Balsamic notes still to the fore.

Ready to go and very generous. Classic Barbaresco character with energy and youth. #ceretto #nebbiolo #barbaresco

Soaring aromatics here; to the fullest showing all the telltale things about this great variety. Coming around nicely on the palate too, but still room for growth. Impressive.

Amazing wine with dried red fruit and dark herbs. It was unfair to follow the 2007 Biondi- Santos.

2001 on 7-23-16. Fabulous tarry nose, bass notes and brown Asian spices. Nice mid palate viscosity, very fine grained tannins, streak of raspberry! Mmm
