A killer Chablis from a killer dude. A gift from a good friend.
Enjoyed over multiple evenings with no change in structure.
This wine will age well, cheers to the screw cap closure 🍻

This 2018 Côte de Léchet displays beautiful purity, concentration and minerality. Hard to resist this young, but this vineyard has a reputation for ageworthiness. Great length too. Excellent.

Unfortunately heavily oxidised and undrinkable. Mid Gold in colour. Only a year later than its recommended drinking window so I suspect a case of premox. A lot of Delectable tasters were complaining about this condition with Chablis a year or so ago. Not sure how this went under the radar but I had a 2015 of this Cuvée a few months ago and I said “delicious and no point in cellaring “ 🥴

Need more to store away for awhile, but this is still gorgeous young. Lemon pith, lime peel, oodles of minerality, parmesan rind, and ripping acidity.

Spot on Cote de Lechet with kimmeridgian terroir goodness! A touch of sweet citrus tang, green apple, flinty minerality, and wet chalk. Excellent concentration and medium body, long and flush finish of flavor and acidity. Really liking the Chablis from this 1er site!

Great personality packed Chablis. Nutty, fruity and yet still mineral. Great stuff!

This was an excellent wine that represents the terroir of Chablis.
