My first GG purchase - and what a bargain at $38. Fuller bodied and ripe Riesling that managed to be juicy, dry, and elegant. A hint of oak adds a nice creaminess to the mid palate, while the finish features sizzling clean acidity.
More info: Rosengarten is a 3.5 ha former monopole that is enclosed by historic stone walls and castle ruins which offer protection from wind and cool air (Spreitzer owns 2.5 ha). The soil is shell limestone rich with calcerous loam. — 5 years ago
