Lovely German Spätburgunder which, if tasted blind, could easily be mistaken for Burgundy. With 19 years of age it’s starting to display some tertiary/umami notes, but still fresh and vibrant. Forest floor, black cherries, a little tobacco. Lovely. — 2 years ago
What a great wine. Very bright, hints of lemon and some floral. Paired with a baked salmon and a sweet potato as gratin, wonderful all around. — 3 years ago
