Such a beautiful expression of Chenin - if a bit atypical (yet regal) featuring prominent tangy citrus on the nose with huge blast of minerality. Sleek on palate w/white stone fruit & darting soft spot here & there - more prominent rounding as it warmed... but fairly sturdy acidic backbone keeps things moving along. Hit of pear (Asian pear?) on the nose and a little just-mown lawn. Complex, almost busy, palate darting from one thing to the next: sweet, savory, tart and citric. Long sweet-sour finish. Fantastic!

2017 vintage. Surprisingly golden in color, considering its youth. Petrol and white floral notes on the nose, lots of acidity in the palate. Good concentration, with melon, green apple, lime, white nectarine, honeysuckle, little bit of green. Sweetness is very discreet. — 3 years ago
