Si conferma come nelle bottiglie precedenti, una tendenza a cambiare molto da bottiglia a bottiglia, sempre stesse annate. Questa volta era leggermente sull’osssidato è un sentore leggero di tappo. Anche il colore era meno vivace e più spento, già sul granato aranciato. — 2 years ago

1997 vintage. Plenty of time to decant and it opened to a very complex and balanced wine. Cherry, olive, green pepper, leather, hay, eucalyptus, earthy with nice minerality. Has an umami character. For me…a little funk of barnyard and brett make it muah! — 8 months ago

N: Classic tar, roses, iron( blood). Woods and herbs. Delicious, deep nose.
Some cigar box/cedar too.
P: On it’s own, even after 2 hrs out, a tannic beastie. W some protein, cherries, roses, cocoa, juicy and bright.
The kind of Barolo that could live 30 plus yrs.@ BaroloWineClub
