Deep dark appearance from this 100% Barbera, still very fresh and vibrant after 10 years. Lots of dark berries, cherries with also some licorice and tobacco flavours. Very good price-quality for this Ca’ Viola Barbera Bric du Luv from 70 year old vines. — 4 years ago
Straight fire. It’s been a few years since I have had this and once again this doesn’t disappoint. Real Italian river rock acidity with elegant cherries and red fruit. Lots of the acidity on this. Some definite natural figs after it sat for a bit. Highly highly recommended especially for the price point. — 5 years ago
