Engerstein Pinot Noir 2016

Wow. Wtf?

Nose is cherry lipstick. A hint of smoke. Amazing.

Palate is so juicy and delicious. Interesting. Almost like elements of sweet chili pepper. God you you going this whole bottle. So good. Fresh cherry. Cherry lipstick. So fresh. Off the charts freshness.

So salivatory. Should be called cuvee Pavlov.

Terrific texture. So silky.

This is a village wine. One of the best Village pinots I’ve ever had.

He’s the real deal. The aromas are great. Without tariffs this is roughly $30.

ChaSa Sauvignon Chardonnay 2016

Unusual and intriguing. Very pale gold appearance. Rye bread and lemon nose. Citrus and some tropical fruit, like mangosteen, on the palate. Light bodied with racy acidity. The Chardonnay stands out more than the Sauvignon Blanc. Not far from a Chablis. — 5 years ago

Hermes Sauvignon 2016

Hermes Sauv Blanc. Medium+ intensity/length. Asparagus, grass, gooseberry, lees, smoke, and creamy vanilla on the palate. Tiny winery, husband-wife team, solid wines from Moravia. — 5 years ago
