Caramel. Bananas and apricot foster. Toasted almond and hazelnut. — 9 months ago
Exotic fruits, pineapple, passion fruit. On the grassy side, hay, peach in syrup, apricot... superbly in place for this 2015 with a potential for evolution over the next 25 years, potential evolution towards notes of dried fruit and nuts. Sweet without saturated sugar. Digestible and light. A real wine in the refined sense of the term. Magnificent on a Roquefort cheese.

My favorite pair with chocolate dessert. Not super sweet but has RS. Tastes like chocolate covered cherries. Beautiful transparent ruby in color. — 8 months ago
NOSE: sherry and brandy-like. Distinct raisin, caramel. Orange (candied), lozenge, varnish, vanilla, baking spices (cinnamon, clove, etc), Rum-like marshmallow. Irish (pot still) whiskey. Laffy taffy.
TASTE: More acidity than expected, over the top raisin. Sulphur (not in a bad way, in a raisin way). Chilled apple cinnamon hibiscus tea with sugar and orange juice. Not my style - but it is made well. 90.
EDIT: someone mentioned roasted nuts and they are right. — 2 years ago

This Vin Doux works well with some cherry pie, I’d guess this is 2% or so R.S., so still lovely Muscat, albeit with that little bit of sweetness, medium-long finish, very nice!! — 10 days ago
