Smooth, complex, delicious. Drank the 2016 vintage in Dec 2018. This was one of the wines from our Italian wine night at Piaza Di Nardi. — 7 years ago

Still really great acidity, and ripe fruit, the cork disintegrated upon trying to open, but was not dry. Surprisingly very very good. — 4 years ago
Great red for oily Chinese food. — 8 years ago
The first whiff reveals an elegant nose of small red cherries, spices, wildflowers, tea, and strong mineral notes; structure is robust (alc on high side, tannins fine, acid high) but with finess; the finish is long with a moderately oaked touch. Likeylikey! But way too young, this great -10 vintage will probably need a decade more to come out. The -10 Silvio Nardi and Col d'Orcia are more evolved and full-bodied, this one lighter and more elegant. — 9 years ago

Sleek and smoothly textured, it displays an engaging, deep garnet appearance, with subtle aromatics and flavors of woodland herbs, dried fruit and nuts, and balsamic nuances. It has good structure and is well balanced with light acidity and gentle tannins at the long, mouth coating, tasty finish. Overall, an excellent wine from an excellent vintage. 2012 vintage.

Tree Kilpatrick
This is a private label called Villa De Nardi and the wine is called: IL Terzetto. It’s a blend. Cab Sauv, Sangiovese, and Cab Franc. Made in Winters, CA. Comes out inky dark. Smells like caramelized fruits, tar and black licorice. Flavors are very interesting. For sure a berry and plum component. But plenty of licorice root, tonic herbs and mint. Finish has mocha and chocolate stuff. This is lovely big boy CA red wine. Balanced and inviting. Fun too. Once in a lifetime blend. — 5 days ago
