Delicious, delightful and vibrant. 2021 — 3 years ago
Pleasantly surprised with this wine... first time having a Vespolina wine. This grape is native to Piedmont and has Nebbiolo grape in its ancestry. Only 12.5% alcohol, classically-made acid-driven red with soft tannins. The tannins grew stronger in the glass I was having 24 hours later. For $24, this is a super value wine I have had in a long time. — 5 years ago

2/15/26. We enjoyed this wine on this ans previous visits. It is smooth on the palette, full bodied and rich, pairing well with many dishes on the menu. — 4 months ago

Dedication ,labor of love, patience and traditional attention to the details results in this excellent and smooth savory wine. Rich medium red, ripe red plum followed with a pleasant peppery suggestion. Great wine, excellent pairing with Shrimp Diablo. — 5 years ago

Decanted +6H. Paired alongside a slow cooked Bolognese sauce over Pappardelle. Merry Christmas 2022 to everyone. 🎄
Deep ruby, fading at edges. Nose has elegant blackberry mash, chocolate mint; Palate has ripe cherry, dried tart cherry, medium drying tannins. Drink future bottles 2027+. — 4 years ago
This is a really good wine but definitely not a crowd pleaser. It starts off with melon and then turns to something like a dry, not-sweet mead. Cool and interesting. — 6 years ago

vintage 2019 | Exemplary sangiovese | Morelinno di Scansano never dissapointed me | The more air the better, my last glass with 48 h aeration became velvety with a hint of truffle | paired with Ottolenghi’s mushroom lasagne — 2 months ago
