Into it. Cheaper, spicy table wine — 5 years ago
Pretty good. Refreshing. One of most interesting Rueda/Verdejo I have tried. Beautiful bottle too and intelligent name...temptress! — 6 years ago

W.S. Grand Tour Vegas: Rich and bold. A red wine with plum, currant, cocoa and hints of cinnamon and fig. Well integrated tannins. A big, wonderful wine. — 8 years ago
At Bouchon (Venetian/Vegas). First time trying this; paired with vegetable gnocchi that had more of a tomato based sauce. Smooth. — a month ago
One of the absolute best Monastrell I’ve had from Spain. I specifically told the wine store guy I didn’t line most of these from Spain because they are too fruit driven & flabby. He said this was old school and very reminiscent of southern France. He was spot on: this had that feral quality, meaty, iron, black olives, smoky, just transported me back to the affordable days of Minervois & Bandol. Balanced beautiful generous - kept opening more & more over a couple of hours. A real treat! — 3 years ago
On a quest to find traditional wines that Igor will like but I will, too :) this Tempranillo hit the spot. Earthy and interesting and smooooooth. — 5 years ago
At Bazaar Meat in Las Vegas for Lori's birthday. Nice fruit and covered tannins. Really nice! — 8 years ago
They are the King’s of Champagne for a reason.
Beautiful mousse. Both yellow & white stone fruits, tropicals, lime & lemon zest/pulp, green & red apple, cream to whipped cream, ginger skin, grey volcanics-limestone minerals, white spice, taunt chalk, baguette crust, sea fossils/foam, white spring flowers, yellow lilies, excellent acidity, balance, structure, tension & elegance for days with a finish that ends balanced on fruit & minerality.

Very peach forward not a lot of funk — 5 years ago
Pop and pour. A medium ruby red color. On the nose: floral, forest floor, cherry, herbs, and caramel vanilla. Taste: white pepper, strawberry/raspberry, with a smokey floral medium plus finish framed by medium acidity. Tannins starting to resolve...give this medium body wine a few more years.
This pinot going great with the Imperial Peking Duck tasting menu at this once Michelin starred restaurant (1st Chinese restaurant in north America to earn one).

Hug yourself with luscious #strawberry #blueberry aroma with this #fruitforward #calicabernet . #medium body with balanced #acidity and tannin. Not your typical “big”, oaky Cali cab which I like! Perfect to go with the equally juicy #ribeye i has tonight :) at Twist , @ Mandarin Oriental, Vegas #steakwine — 8 years ago

Very good wine just not for me, I normally drink a lot of Napa valley wine and French wine. I’m not saying it’s a bad wine I’m just saying I guess I have a profile I enjoy more. I held the wine for 10 years, chilled and decanted for 1 hr, 1.5 hr, and then 2 hrs. I never experienced the normal oak, cigar, leather. You know all the taste profiles the pros mention. I enjoyed it but was still disappointed. I have one more bottle 2015 that I will drink in 2030. Maybe I’ll love it. I drank a younger bottle and really enjoyed it. It was almost overwhelming and hard to finish of course I was in las Vegas at a hotel enjoying the view from my hotel of the Bellagio fountains which made this spectacular both the wine and the view. Which was years ago but a special wine and a memory goes a long way. Especially when you get up in age. — 18 days ago
