— 11 years ago

9 euros in Alberobello - amazing for its value. Semi bodied and rich in rustic flavours - trullo d'oro — 9 years ago
2009 vintage at Trullo in Islington. Pale ruby bright hue. On the nose, floral and red cherry profile, earthy and tar. Very good. On the palate, bright piercing acidity, medium plus alcohol, high slightly chalky tannins, medium minus body, medium plus concentration and finish. Good fruit. Still young but drinking early. Sweet on the tail end of the wine. Very moreish. Drink now until 2024. — 10 years ago
Crisp, tangy yet bold and a bit dry with hints of blackberries — 11 years ago
Beware, I’m sprinkling in some sweeter treats here…macerated 40 days after drying on the vine—yielding a very natural 107g/L residual sugar. Jammmmm-tastic like raspberry jam, a lick of acidity, and almost a hint of white chocolate—with air, a little leather shows up. Utterly craveable. — 3 years ago
