Plenty of acid, fruit and tannin - will go for a long while. Pleasant finish and a long linger. — 2 years ago
Delightful, funky, lightly carbonated, moderately tart. Would be great with cheddar/bleu cheeses. — 3 years ago
For a 2018, it's still a little tight, although Spanish wines do tend to last longer on the shelf. A dark luscious red garnet color with a tin-sharp nose of fresh cave mossberry, whatever that is. First taste hits with gooseberry and apricot, super-dry medium-light body wash grabs for another sip as the final taste draws out strawberry jam with a cranberry bread tart finish. — a year ago
Pretty fruit—classic Sangiovese nose. Very nice food wine. — 2 years ago
Tasted the 2017 and 2018 at the winery in Tin City, Paso Robles. We preferred the 2018, more fruit forward and less tannic..

Spot on with nearly ten years of age. Not sure if it was the careful winemaking or the saran/tin liner in the stelvin.
Pours a pale ruby. Nose is an amalgam of tart plum, rose hips, sour red cherry, damp stone and a hint of clean earthy hummus. Palate feel was elegant, acid dominated with a light/medium body and a lovely, sapid, invigorating finish. This reminded me of very good village level or middling premium Cru Burg from the 90's. I'm guessing this had some stem inclusion due to the slightly menthol/ever so vaguely green tone in the aftertaste. Very, very good. Too bad I only had one bottle. — 2 years ago
