Bold and taunt. Big rips of acidity that gets meaty and olive in finish. Good balance and length. — 4 years ago

Gamonal Vino de la Tierra de León Prieto Picudo

Medium bodied, a little pepper nose with some floral hints. Aeration and or allow the wine to open for a bit before enjoying. Went very nicely with meaty mushroom bolognese pasta. — 3 months ago

Los Arrotos del Pendón Prieto Picudo Rosado 2021

Quite enjoyable. My wine store does free tastings and I didn't really like it. It got included anyway, so I was pleasantly surprised. — 6 months ago

Vino de la Tierra Castilla y León Pegaso Barrancos de Pizarra Red Blend 2014

Enticing & seductive with spicy, fresh red fruit, with some ripe cherry, a touch of amarena and a fresh, mineral edge. So fresh, lively, inviting.
Light yet luscious on the palate, vibrant juicy cherry acidity. Love the tannins - grippy yet sappy and quite polished.
Cherries & raspberries with a orange peel sidekick. Delicious.
This is a great wine - authentic & so fresh & juicy yet elegant at the same time.
You just gotta love Gredos.
