Polished, sure, but maybe a little too polished. The cherries are ripe, the spice is there, and it’s as smooth as it wants to be. It’s good, don’t get me wrong, but it plays it safe—like the wine equivalent of a well-done cover song. Good with roasted duck. — 10 months ago
Smooth. A little bitter. — 20 days ago
Ruby, well balanced, a hair on the drier acidic side. Red fruit on the nose with a little darker fruit on the palette. Vanilla and earthy notes on the finish — 3 months ago
Sunday Lunch with Roast Lamb. Deep Ruby in colour - very dense. A very Margaret River Cabernet - nose with herbs and a little mint. Barb thought a bit of capsicum (bell pepper) on the nose. On the medium bodied balanced palate the tannins are quite soft yet persistent. Leeuwin Estate better known for its outstanding Art Series Chardonnay has been working hard with the red varieties and it shows. — a month ago

Full-bodied and delicious! While there’s a little alcohol at the finish, this is wonderful. — 7 months ago
2008 vintage. Had never come across the "Little Hill" until today. Light-medium body. Decanted and was fairly musty for 2-3 minutes before it started to blossom. Some blue fruit/menthol/eucalyptus throughout the experience. Demonstrative spice component on the back end. Could really only ding this on being slightly "watery" on the front palate. Otherwise, this is kicking now and has plenty of life and love to give. 5.27.23 — 2 years ago
Sipping Fine Wine

Deep Ruby color with aromas of red berry fruit and sweet spices. On the palate flavors of ripe black cherry and blackberry flavors, with some dried fruit notes, toasty oak, cinnamon spice and cola tones. Fine tannins with balanced acidity, medium+ finish ending with fruit and spice. Will age a little. — 22 days ago
