The Dalmore

Cigar Malt Reserve Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Smooth but feels a bit contrived. What does “cigar blend” really mean? — a month ago

Yeah. Best I could do at a reasonable price point. GF 40 is still my all time favorite. Cheers, @Paul T- Huntington Beach

Oban

Little Bay of Caves 14 Years West Highland Single Malt Scotch Whiskey

Not really a whisky drinker, but I can appreciate this Scotch. Very woodsy and dry. Cedar with orange bitters, and oaky vanilla bean. Clean fresh finish, with a long lasting Szechuan pepper tingle and wood chips towards the end. 14 yr single malt. — 6 months ago

The Balvenie Distillery

DoubleWood Aged 12 Years Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Balvenie Doublewood 12yr - the nose is light with a hint of wood. On the palate you get a bit more power and a full mouth warmth. Finish gives you more of that wood and heat. It’s a good, easy drinker. Won’t go out of my way to get but wouldn’t feel bad if given a dram. — 7 months ago

Golden amber color. Briny, diluted iodine, smoky, red fruit, floral and herbal notes on the nose. Warm mouthfeel. Hints of sherry and stewed fruits on the palate. — 5 years ago
