Happy Easter y’all!
I celebrated by opening this dandy Gevry! This bottle marks the most I have ever spent on a single bottle ($75).
With the social distancing set in place I (un)fortunately had to drink this one all on my own. I would have rather shared this with others who would also appreciate it…but here we are. I won’t complain about drinking good burgundy all by myself LOL

This wine was extremely funky at first with lots of earthy notes: wet leaves, dirt. The nose became fruitier as it opened up.
The palate was smooth with lovely tart cherries. It lingered on the palate for quite a while.
A nice wine to have on a quarantined holiday and Monty Python & the Holy Grail on tv! — 6 years ago

As my friend @Scott@Mister A’s-San Diego just said. It’s like The Holy Grail. Cheers. — 2 years ago
I think this is the holy grail of sub $20 pinots. Low on the acid (take note Tasmanian vignerons), soft, lingering finish, and better on the 2nd night. — 6 years ago
Hall Wines— Ellie’s 2015 cabernet sauvignon. HOLY WINE BATMAN! This is the Holy Grail of wines. I must give it a perfect score. It’s everything I love in a Cabernet, and I mean everything. This bouquet is really pretty. Blueberry pie and cherry pie, chocolate covered cherries come to mind. Lets taste. Hummm, dark currant, blackberry, chocolate, and notes of leather are tantalizing my tongue. Now comes the cedar and spice and oak.... wow. The tannins are round and supple. This is so thick you can almost chew it. And now comes the buttery dry finish. WOW. This is a beautiful Cabernet Sauvignon. — 6 years ago
Velvet cherry holy grail. — 3 years ago
The holy grail muy Bonita. On a 1-10 scale this would be funkalicious.
Sour and bitter. Bubble city USA, put on your effervescent seatbelt and store your tray tables in the upright locked position. — 6 years ago
This is the Holy Grail of fed qine IMO. Deep, Rich, very flavorful pairs very well with a heavy steak or lamb. — 6 years ago

2021 vintage. Medium-medium heavy body. Fleshy. Durty nose. Chunky and slightly unresolved but I think I can fix it and be happy. Good punch throughout. Under $30 USD resto cost which is increasingly holy grail for CDP rouge or blanc these daze. 04.23.25. — a year ago
