Ooooh boy, this one’s a tongue twister. Heavy acid with notes of lemon on the nose with a bit of lime as it rolls off. Starts a tad sweet then dries a bit as it opens up. Pleasant on it’s own or with lighter fare fish grilled chicken breast. — 4 years ago
Really charming after the initial SO2 blows off.

Washington GSM? OK. Very solid. I’m not sure I could tell the difference between this and an entry level CDR. Very enjoyable though. Stewed cherries on the nose and palate with a med finish. Great lunch wine in this WFH era. — 4 years ago

Väldigt smaskig pet-nat med snärtig frukt, kryddighet och rejäl klunkabilitet. — 6 years ago
Black Truffle ravioli, heirloom tomatoes, and farm fresh kale went perfectly with this properly aged Valtellina Nebbiolo. It has truffle and aged salumi with baked plum and smoky cherry bursting aromatically alongside violet and briny plum reduction. A corned beef and grilled pork along with ground steak skimming. Amazing. Blood orange dried bing and cran, dried violet, cedar and light tobacco, clove, and lightest graphite. This is elegant as a samurai sword with the blacksmith residue to prove it, Rose petal, and a hemp resin moment tamed by cinnamon. Incredible on all levels. #rainoldi #rainoldivaltellina #valtellina #valtellinasuperiore #sassellareserva #nebbiolo #chiavennasca — 4 years ago
Nice fruit, fine tannin, graphite on the nose. Smooth and very drinkable.

77% Chenin Blanc and boy does this baby slap. It's full of energy, and it's lively. Popping the cap off the bottle producer a sonic boom. Scared the crap out of us. Aroma in celery, green apple, pear and lychee filled the air and the wine itself is tasty. Slightly saline too. Honestly the value is great too. Need more. — a month ago
