Happy Thanksgiving! — 5 months ago
Had in Thanksgiving after dinner. Still the best wine broc makes. Wish he didn’t do so many other random wines that have no soul. This is amazing fruit, tastes like zin but so well balanced. It was like an aperitif to bridge dinner and dessert. — 5 months ago

2012 | Pinot Noir
Beaux Frères; Beaux Frères Vineyard (Estate)
Ribbon Ridge; Willamette Valley, OR, USA
(93-95; Drink 2027-37)
Delayed 2023 Thanksgiving with the extended family.
Much to look forward to here, all the B-F traits to love, strawberry, black raspberry, plum, white pepper, still bold and wanting several more years to really enter the zone for my palate.
The 2004 vintage is drinking perfectly now, a respectable presentation of the AVA. I can't wait for this to catch up. — 5 months ago
From brine to seasoned to cooked bird.
Happy Thanksgiving.
Gotta have two glasses with Thanksgiving Turkey, one for dark & white meat.
Nicely, ripe blackberries, black plum, black raspberries, dark cherries, medium intensity, dark spice, cinnamon stick, clove, nutmeg, vanilla, dark & red fresh and withering florals, near perfect acidity and a lush, balanced, long finish. At it peaks. — 5 months ago
Heavy tanins, great nose. One of the best Pinots I’ve had. Thanksgiving Dinner — 5 months ago
