I’m loving how the 2013s out of Napa are drinking right now. Definitely ripe, aromatic dark fruits with a satisfying juiciness, bold tannins that aren’t too rough, graphite, dried fennel, leather and subtle oak. The only thing that detracts is the price... Napa is not a very good value generally, but I do still like this wine.

Rich red syrupy fruits, plum, earth, and whispers of mint on the end.

Solid cab from a reputable Napa family winery. Give this one a little bit of time to open up and yum! Pairs perfectly with prosciutto & ricotta pizza. Drink now or hold for a couple of years.

Dark ruby red, dirt road meets black fruit and a bit o dark chocolate. Medium Tannins, lingering finish.

Thanksgiving tradition with 2013 Heitz continues. Now doing every other year instead of every year to stretch it out. Love what time is doing for the complexity of the wine. Happy Turkeyday to you and yours!
